Understanding Change!
Growing up can sometimes be a pain in the ass, and most of us struggle with change at some time in our lives.
The most obvious time of change are the teen years as the search for independence, identity and what we want to do with our life. All this while hormones and emotions are raging.
Life decisions?
Who am I? What do I believe? Will I marry, and if so, to whom? What do I want to do with my life?
The 20s and 30s
And then come the late 20s and 30s, and you begin to think, is this all there is to life? Do I have to live this day for the rest of my life? I feel like I'm on a treadmill.
The 40s
The 40s is when you reassess the choices you made in your teens. Is my marriage fulfilling for me? Is my career fulfilling? What is my life's purpose? The 40s are a time of reassessment.
The 50s and onward
The search for meaning intensifies. We have reached the halfway point in our lives. Are my best years behind me?

Internal Change
Life is unpredictable, and things we can't control happen. Internal change is constant because we grow and mature as we experience life.
Out of sync
Males and females face internal challenges at different times of life, which can result in conflict within relationships, marriages, friendships and business partnerships.
Change is an Opportunity for growth
When you understand what is happening, the changes you experience are an opportunity for learning and growth.

Change Is Not The Problem
It Is The Transition!
External change is what happens. You or a loved is diagnosed with cancer, get promoted or has an accident. You get married, have a child, move into a new home or get divorced.
Even good changes require you to make the transition.
What is a Transition?
The transition is internal. It is how you dal with what has changed.
You have no control over what has happened but you can control how you respond.
The transition is a process of changing from one state or condition to another.
